AgriSign Expanded to include Policy Documents

Given the increasing complexity of the Federal Crop Insurance Program, more and more paperwork is required each year for Approved Insurance Providers (AIPs) to offer producers the risk management services they deserve. This complexity, combined with unpredictable conditions, places a strain on AIPs and unnecessary stress on farmers as delays in the timely transfer of information can keep their operations in limbo.

Rather than see our insureds in this kind of predicament, a little over a year ago, ARMtech Insurance Services, Inc. (ARMtech) launched AgriSign, an online, digital signature feature for the Policy Holder Access (PHA) portion of the ARMtech website.

The initial release of AgriSign focused on collecting digital signatures on claim documents. Agents and insureds often experience time-consuming delays in claims processing due to the need for adjusters to make additional trips to visit insureds for the sole purpose of collecting signatures, and Agri- Sign has accelerated the processing of claims by eliminating the need for many additional adjuster visits, thereby allowing ARMtech to close claims faster, and ultimately, get checks in the hands of insureds much sooner.

Since last spring, hundreds of ARMtech insureds have benefited from the expedited service AgriSign offers, and as we move farther into the 2010 crop year, we are pleased to announce that AgriSign has been expanded beyond the claims process, and agents now have the option to post policy documents for digital signature as well. If both an agent and insured have been enabled for digital signatures, agents can simply key information into AgriNet and then post a myriad of policy documents on the PHA website for insureds to sign at their leisure.

With this latest expansion of AgriSign, the opportunity to speed up all facets of the crop insurance cycle exists by digitally signing these documents:

- MPCI Applications

- Policy Change Forms

- Perennial Combo Reporting Forms

- Production Reporting Forms

- Production & Yield Reporting Forms

- Production Reporting Forms (Current Year's Production)

- Revenue Loss Estimators

- MPCI Acreage Reports with Production

- MPCI Acreage Reports

- Map-Based Acreage Reports

In the coming weeks and months, you will be hearing more details regarding AgriSign and other new additions to the ARMtech suite of products as we continue to strive to identify new and innovative ways with which to deliver the Federal Crop Insurance Program, but if you have any immediate questions about AgriSign or the PHA website, please contact your Marketing Representative.
